Industrial Human-Robot Collaboration


This hybrid human-robot collaborative cell is based on multiple sensors and ABB IRB 1200 industrial robot. Microsoft Kinect was utilized to capture the motion of human. For more information, please see our paper published on IJPR.

3D Perception and Human-Object Interaction


This work is about using Kinect sensors to build a virtual 3D human-object interaction scene. Human motions in the physical world are represented by point cloud. In the cyber world, a virtual object (red cude) was created. Human can interactive with this virtual object through a cyber-physical interface.

Cloud Monitoring System


This cloud monitoring system is aimed at monitoring the energy consumption of an automobile production system. At the level of hardware, all the sensors are integrated through industrial WiFi. The whole system was based on SSH architecture and run on Tomcat server system. This system was developed by Java and JavaScript.

Based on the energy consumption data, the manufacturer can get access to know how much electricity is used for individual assembly procedures and compare the energy consumption among various production lines.

UAV and AGV Design


The UAV and AGV were based on STM32 and TI TM4C micro controllers. A remote controller can change the mode of the UAV. The UAV was 100% self-designed, including the PCB and controller algorithms.

Industrial Robot Data and Command Interface


RobotCube, a middleware for integrating ABB industrial robots and sensors, links real-time data and databases. ABB PC SDK is the core development kit for teleoperation and remote monitoring of ABB robotic cells. This tool was developed with C# and MySQL database. It contains functionalities like net scanner, perception, remote manipulation, etc.

This software was done when I was a new master student. It used the ABB PCSDK.

Ontology for Product Assembly
